HELPING PEOPLE
TO BREAK FREE FROM THE TRAUMAS AND LIVE A HAPPY & FULFILLED LIFE
ABOUT NEELIMA SINHA
I am a trauma recovery therapist and coach. I help people recover from trauma and effects of trauma which manifests in the form of anxiety, depression, addictions, phobias, and physical pain. I am an Integrative Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, Master NLP, Reiki Healer, EFT Practitioner and Life Coach. I combine Hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT, Counselling, Reiki, EFT and Coaching to work on any particular problem.
I tailor my therapy programmes as per the needs of the individuals. It’s not one approach fits all. Therapy techniques are adopted as per the underlying problem.

Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Phobias and Physical Pain are just the symptoms of trauma. If you just work on anxiety and the underlying trauma is not resolved, the changes will not be long-lasting, the problem would keep surfacing. When someone has unresolved traumas, they find it difficult to evolve and grow no matter how hard they try, and they are not aware why it’s happening to them. They will often have low self-esteem, would always blame themselves for other’s unhappiness, would always prioritise others before their happiness and will be people pleasers, would always look for happiness outside them. Unresolved traumas can affect a person on a personal, professional, financial and spiritual level.

My inclination towards working on people with traumas comes from going through complex childhood and life traumas and recovering from them successfully. I have battled clinical depression, anxiety, panic disorder through hypnotherapy and other therapeutic approaches which I practice. I have worked on number of clients heal from their complex childhood traumas and recovering from anxiety, depression, phobias and physical pain.
HOW CAN I HELP YOU
By definition, trauma is an emotional response to a terrible event like an accident, rape, bullying, abandonment bereavement, natural disaster and many more. It's natural to be in the state of shock immediately after the event. However, sometimes traumatic experiences leave longer term effect on us such as unpredictable emotions, flashbacks, strained relationships, and even physical symptoms. As a result, people can't live a life they deserve. They feel trapped and helpless. It has been found that some of our responses to adverse or even normal situations are a result of our past. If you find it difficult to concentrate, it may be linked to your past. If you smoke, you make be trying to heal an emotional wound.
Scientists have discovered that childhood trauma can deteriorate your learning and memory even at the later stages of life. This happens when a past traumatic event brings back the fear, it releases the stress hormones (mostly cortisol and adrenaline) in the body regularly which can damage the cells of hippocampus (which helps you memorise things). Research has shown that people with chronic trauma have a smaller hippocampus. This is just one example, trauma is capable of negatively impacting your prefrontal cortex and amygdala too, which are other key parts of human brain.
Fortunately the good news is that human brain is highly elastic as the scientists call it Neuroplasticity. A trauma therapy can help to treat the trauma and allow the brain to regenerate and function optimally. With the help of multiple tools and an integrative approach, I help clients to break free from their traumas and live the happy, blessed, and fulfilling lives that they always deserve.
TOOLS I USE
HYPNOTHERAPY
In hypnotherapy, we create a state of deep relaxation and focussed attention. This allows you to be more receptive to positive suggestions and open to finding new ways of doing or seeing things. This means you are best placed to achieve your goals quickly.
Hypnosis can help you understand and take control of your thoughts, your feelings, and your behaviours. Through hypnotherapy, you embrace positive and impactful changes using positive suggestions and guided imagery and other techniques. It can help you deal with a wide range of concerns. Together we can make lasting changes. It is a pleasant and relaxing experience where your unconscious is listening as your conscious mind has a well-deserved rest
NLP
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. It involves three components
Neuro- The physical components as well as the mental and emotional components of our neurology
Linguistic- Linguistics pertains to the language that you use, and more specifically, how you communicate with others and more importantly, how you communicate with yourself
Programming- Perceiving your mind as your internal operating system, programming is the way our experiences, thoughts and emotions affect all areas of our lives. In other words, NLP is like learning the language of your own mind
REIKI
Reiki is a form of complementary therapy relating to energy healing. It works with the energy fields around the body and involves the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to the client. It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. Reiki is a type of energy healing. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. These energy blocks can cause illness. Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks. Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness
CBT
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle
